Fetal monitoring
Fetal monitors are used as part of routine prenatal care and assist in monitoring the heartbeat of the baby in the womb and uterine contractions during gynecological examinations and obstetrics. In order to be able to produce an audible heartbeat simulation, the device uses the Doppler effect. This is a non-invasive procedure, which is also considered safe.
